Location: South Park

South Park is situated in East Oxford on the east side of Headington Hill. The Love Oxford stage and event area will be towards the foot of the park - the St Clements end. The main gates (and best route in) will be through the lower gates - off Morrell Avenue & St Clements.

(Access through gate on Headington Hill may be limited as this leads onto the hard standing area for set up vehicles/access for emergency vehicles).

Access & Parking

Disabled parking will be available at South Park (Headington Hill entrance) for those with the appropriate disabled badge on their cars. Car parking is very limited around the park, although there is a small pay car park at St Clements (close to the Plane roundabout at the end of High Street) and some limited roadside parking at the top end of the Park close to the Warnford Hospital.

We strongly recommend those living in the City use public transport and those living outside the City use the Park & Ride Bus Service.

Seating
You are welcome to bring collapsible chairs if you are unable to stand for the 90 minute service, and of course if you do not wish to sit on the grass! Please note that we will not be providing chairs - you will need to provide your own. Please also be prepared to follow the directions of the event stewards, who may guide you concerning where to sit.

Food & drink

We hope that most people will come with a picnic and stay on into the afternoon. However, if you don't get time to pack a lunch, there will be a couple of catering vans on site offering freshly prepared food, drinks and ice-creams.

Please remember to take any litter away with you, or to dispose of it appropriately in bins on site.

Toilet facilities

We are pleased to be able to provide 25 portable toilets on site for the Love Oxford event, please use these facilities as they are intended, and with consideration for other users. Thank you.

Other organisations

We have invited a number of Christian organisations and groups to join us at Love Oxford and have a stall or marquee where you can find out more about who they are and what they do. St Andrew's bookshop will also have a marquee bookshop on the day.
